Eric "Big E" Lehman
Eric is the Co-Director and Technical Director of Santa Barbara Summer Stock.
He has worked at Santa Barbara Middle School for 25 years and has in that time, with his wife Maureen, produced a musical every year.
Eric started working at The Montessori Center School and The Free School in 1973. Later, when the Open Alternative School (OAS) opened, he started working there. Since that time he has worked in many schools in and around Santa Barbara doing both theater and video projects.
Maureen is the Co-Director and Musical Director of Santa Barbara Summer Stock.
She has worked at Santa Barbara Middle School alongside her husband Eric for 25 years as the musical director for all of their productions. Maureen is also a doll maker and original bookmaker extraordinaire. She teaches an Art Journal class at SBMS, as well as a Singing class that performs at the yearly "Songfest".
Eric and Maureen have 5 children and 9 grandchildren between them, and have become familial figures to many others.
Caroline is the Producer and Coordinator of Santa Barbara Summer Stock.
With her MA in Education and MA Clinical Psychology, she has worked with kids at many schools such as as Vieja Valley Elementary School, The Garden Street Academy’s High School and pre-school in Boulder, CO. She was also an educator, teacher and outdoor trip coordinator for Santa Barbara Middle School (SBMS) for 14 years.
As a previous SBSS camper, Caroline is thrilled to now be a part of the SBSS Team for the 3rd year in a row.
Heather is the Head Counselor, Assistant Director, Assistant Coordinator, and "Social Media Guru" of Santa Barbara Summer Stock.
She has been involved with theatre her whole life. She was part of the original company of SBYET through Adderley School Of The Performing Arts, and took part in SBMS’s theatre program as a student. Heather also did commercial work for American Girl.
She attended Idyllwild Arts Academy as a Theatre Major, and represented the school in an improv showcase in Palm Desert. After leaving Idyllwild, she was asked back to the town to be a special guest in an improv performance. Now part of a group in Santa Barbara, she can sometimes be seen performing improv and comedy around town.
